What to Expect
Results of your VelaShape™ treatments will be seen gradually throughout the treatment regimen and most apparent six to eight weeks following the last scheduled session. You will enjoy smoothing of skin's surface with a noticeable reduction in cellulite and reshaping over time.
In a multi-center clinical study, 85% of treated areas experienced circumferential reduction of thighs of up to 7.2 centimeters. Cellulite treatment and circumferential reduction should neither be considered a solution for obesity nor a substitute for a healthy lifestyle.
How it Works
The treatment combines two heat sources, bi-polar radiofrequency (RF) and infrared light energy, to easily and precisely penetrate the skin to heat adipose tissue thereby jump starting the metabolism of stored energy, increasing lymphatic drainage and shrinking the actual fat cells and chambers. Vacuum and tissue manipulation evens out the skin to reveal smoother, tighter figure.
Your Experience
Procedures including the abdomen, buttocks and thighs take less than 40 minutes. Most clients describe the sensation during the treatment as a warm deep tissue massage. Regimens may require as few as four sessions, and visits are typically spaced one week apart. You may return to normal activities immediately after VelaShape™ treatment sessions, and there is no downtime.

What is the recovery time I should expect?
Most patients are able to return to work and normal activities immediately. Your skin in the treatment area may be red for several hours.
How can I improve and maintain results?
Following your scheduled treatment regimen, it is recommended to do maintenance treatments periodically. Like all non-surgical or surgical techniques, longevity of results will improve if you follow a balanced diet and exercise regularly.
