As you age, your body slows down the production of collagen, a protein that gives your skin its strength and structure. Morpheus8 technologies can help to encourage the production of new collagen, providing firmer, more youthful skin, as well as fat reduction with customized settings.
Ideal Candidates Morpheus8
Candidates for Morpheus8 are in good general health. If you are concerned about skin laxity but do not want to undergo an invasive procedure, this treatment may be right for you. During your private consultation, Dr. Hotchandani will examine your skin and develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Morpheus8 is safe for all skin tones.
- The Morpheus8 Process
The Morpheus8 Process
Morpheus8 delivers radiofrequency (RF) energy to specific depths in the skin through tiny pins. The pins create micro-channels in the skin, stimulating the body’s healing response. The RF energy causes a thermal reaction to tighten and smooth the skin. Fat deposits can also be reduced when desired. A numbing cream will be applied prior to your session for your comfort. A series of treatments may be recommended, depending on your needs. At Hotchandani Laser, Vein & Cosmetic Surgery we use PRO-NOX™ (laughing gas) to make the procedure more comfortable.
*Results and patient experience may vary.
Morpheus8 treatments require minimal downtime. After treatment with Morpheus8, you may experience some slight redness, bruising, and swelling in the treatment area. These side effects should resolve within a few days.
You may see minor improvement a few days after your treatment. However, the final results can take some time to develop as your body begins to produce more collagen.
What areas can be treated with Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 can be applied to almost any area of the body with loose skin, including the face, neck, arms, and thighs.
How many Morpheus8 treatments will I need?
The number of sessions required will depend on your aesthetic goals, the area(s) being treated, and the extent of sagging. Dr. Hotchandani will develop a treatment plan for you during your consultation.
How long will my procedure take to complete?
The length of your treatment will depend on the size of the treatment site. Your session can last for up to one hour once the numbing cream has taken effect.
