Get to the Root of Unwanted Hair

Introducing State-Of-The-Art Vectus® laser system

Unwanted hair is a common problem, both for women as well as men.  Hair removal is one of the most frequent activities for both sexes as they strive to look their best.

Frequent hair removal chores including shaving, depilatories, plucking, and waxing.  And it’s a time-consuming, inconvenient, often painful chore.  At best, these frequently used methods offer only temporary results – for some only a few hours.

Free yourself from the constant need to shave and wax unwanted facial and body hair in order to look and feel your best. Laser technology has brought us a better way, a safe, long-lasting way to remove unwanted hair from any part of the body, leaving skin feeling smooth and healthy.

According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, laser hair removal is the 3rd most performed non-surgical cosmetic treatment in the US.

We can help you to get at the root of the problem with laser hair removal with state-of-the-art Vectus® laser system.

Laser hair removal gives you effective hair reduction anywhere that you have unwanted hair.  Whether it’s your face, neck, underarms, arms, legs, back, or bikini line, you can have the results you want.

Technology We Have Acquired

There are many devices for clinical laser hair removal.  We use the Cynosure Vectus laser system.   The Vectus laser is a diode laser designed as a dedicated single use laser to be used specifically for laser hair removal.  It provides treatments that are fast, effective, and safe.

Speed.  The Vectus provides the fastest treatments available, allowing you to resume your normal activities as quickly as possible.

The physical “spot size” or treatment area for the device is very large – almost 20% larger than the next closest system. This larger size means that larger areas such as the back, legs, or chest can be treated in less time using Vectus.  The Vectus also has the option to use a smaller spot size for touch ups or smaller physical areas, such as the upper lip.

Effectiveness.  The Vectus uses a high powered diode laser and emits a 810nm wavelength.  The 810nm wavelength is highly absorbed by the pigment in the hair shaft and produces excellent hair reduction.   Clinical studies have shown 65% hair reduction after only 2 treatments.[1]

Safety.  One of the keys to safety is proper laser settings for the skin that you have.  On many lasers this is a little bit of a guessing game.  But not with the Vectus.

The Vectus is equipped with Skintel®, the only FDA-cleared melanin reader.  Skintel measures how much pigment (melanin) your skin contains.  These readings are transmitted wirelessly to the Vectus laser and converted to recommended laser settings.  Skintel can even detect pigment that may not be visible yet, such as a tan that is still developing due to recent sun exposure.

In addition, the Vectus laser distributes the laser energy more evenly than other laser devices, providing less variation across the treated area.  This also helps to minimize the risk of burns that other systems may have.
