VASERlipo® combines the tumescent method with advanced ultrasound technology to disrupt the targeted fat cells while leaving the surrounding tissue unharmed.
The best candidates for VASERlipo® are at a healthy, average weight but find it challenging to target stubborn pockets of fat. This procedure can be particularly beneficial for patients who want to preserve the integrity of their unwanted fat for transfer to other areas of the body. Additionally, those who seek fat removal with VASERlipo® must have a realistic expectation of their results and understand that this treatment is not a substitute for diet and exercise. Dr. Hotchandani, along with our highly educated registered nurses and a certified surgical technician, will care for you throughout your VASERlipo® journey. After you are welcomed and interviewed, an IV access port is placed, the necessary photographs of the treatment areas are taken, and the skin will be marked in preparation for surgery. You will then be escorted to the operating room, and anesthesia will be administered.
